這次媽媽因為脊椎壓迫滑脫開刀，加上她本身有第一型糖尿病，術後的照顧實在讓我們家屬非常擔憂。負責夜班的陳護理師真的非常專業又暖心！媽媽晚上幾次血糖掉得很快（甚至一度掉到 79），護理師第一時間就給予葡萄糖片、蘋果汁和蘇打餅乾補充，預防了最危險的夜間低血糖狀況。
Mum had spinal surgery, and she also has type 1 diabetes, so we worried about her recovery. Nurse Chen on the night shift was skilled and kind. A few times Mum’s blood sugar dropped fast at night, once to 79. The nurse gave her glucose tablets, apple juice and crackers straight away and kept her out of a dangerous night-time low.

護理師會說英文嗎？Do the nurses speak English?
會。我們的護理師會說國語，也能以英文溝通，向您回報時可用英文或中文。對於主要說英文的台美第二代或美國民眾，這讓溝通與安排都更順暢。Yes. Our nurses speak Mandarin and can communicate in English, and updates can come in either English or Chinese. For English-speaking second-generation Taiwanese-Americans or Americans, this makes everything smoother.
