香港、新加坡和美國的私家看護收費多少
以下是當地機構常開的價，會隨資歷和城市浮動。要安排的話，先拿一份當地報價。
- 香港 註冊護士到府按小時計，一小時三百五十到六百港幣。看護等級的二十四小時照顧一天一千五百到三千港幣，護理師更高
- 新加坡 護理到府一小時五十到九十新幣，十二小時班從三百新幣起跳。家庭幫傭是另一個類別，成本結構不同，那個人不是護理師
- 美國 居家健康助理一小時三十到四十美元，有執照的護理師一小時五十到一百美元。機構開的二十四小時照顧一天四百到八百美元
為什麼台灣的居家看護費用比較低
兩件事。
台灣護理師的薪水低於香港、新加坡和美國。薪資級距不同，訓練沒有差。
健保撐住大部分的醫療費用。居家照顧補的是醫院顧不到的那一段，價格裡面不必包含治療本身。
同樣一天的預算，在各地請到什麼人
約三百九十美元，在台北買到二十四小時、一對一、有國家證照的護理師。同樣的錢在加州買到居家健康助理的半天，那個人不能給藥也不能抽痰。香港和新加坡比較接近加州。
分界線是資格範圍。管路、傷口和用藥屬於護理行為。爸爸出院回家身上還帶著引流管的時候，你需要一個法律上碰得到那根管子的人。特別護士和看護差在哪寫得更細。
台灣居家看護一個月多少錢
你訂幾班就付幾班。
三十天白班約十八萬元。三十天夜班約十九萬八千元。三十天二十四小時約三十七萬八千元。
很少有家庭排滿一個月。常見的是手術後那一週、外籍看護回國那兩週、或者只排夜班讓家裡有人能睡。沒有最低天數。

台灣醫療便宜的前提是有健保。沒有健保身分的人，醫療照自費算，跟居家照顧的收費是兩件事。

A Taiwanese special nurse has a national licence. She can suction an airway, run a tube feed, dress a wound, give medication, and notice when your mother's condition changes.
What private nursing costs in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States
These are the ranges local agencies quote. Experience and location affect them, so get a quote where you live before you plan around any of it.
- Hong Kong A registered nurse who visits the home charges HK$350 to HK$600 an hour. Round the clock care from a caregiver costs HK$1,500 to HK$3,000 a day, and a nurse costs more
- Singapore Nursing visits cost S$50 to S$90 an hour, and a twelve hour nursing shift starts at around S$300. A live in domestic helper is a different arrangement with a different cost, and that person is not a nurse
- United States A home health aide charges US$30 to US$40 an hour, and a private duty registered nurse charges US$50 to US$100. Agencies quote US$400 to US$800 a day for round the clock care
Why is home care in Taiwan cheaper
Two things.
Taiwanese nurses earn less than nurses in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States. The salaries are lower. The training is the same.
National health insurance covers most medical costs here. Home care only covers what the hospital does not, so the price does not have to include the treatment.
What the same daily budget buys
About US$390 buys twenty four hours with a licensed nurse in Taipei. The same money in California buys a home health aide for part of one day, and that aide cannot give medication or suction an airway. Hong Kong and Singapore are closer to California than to Taipei.
The difference is what each one is allowed to do. Only a nurse can handle tubes, wounds and medication. When your father comes home with a drain still in, you need someone who is legally allowed to touch it. The difference between a special nurse and a caregiver explains this in more detail.
How much does a month of home nursing in Taiwan cost
You pay for the shifts you book.
Thirty days of day care costs NT$180,000. Thirty nights cost NT$198,000. Thirty days of round the clock care cost NT$378,000.
Very few families book a full month. Most cover the week after surgery, or the two weeks a foreign caregiver goes home on leave, or nights only so someone in the house can sleep. There is no minimum.
What does not get cheaper
If you fly back to be there, flights and accommodation are extra.
Moving a parent who already lives abroad back to Taiwan rarely makes sense. Transferring a patient between two medical systems is risky.
Cheap treatment in Taiwan depends on having national health insurance. Without it, you pay private rates for medical care, no matter what home care costs.

We charge by the shift, twelve hours for a day and twelve for a night. Hourly billing suits short jobs such as an appointment escort. For longer periods, paying by the shift is simpler and avoids arguments about overtime.
Why is private nursing cheaper in Taiwan than in Singapore or Hong Kong
Salaries. Taiwanese nurses earn less than nurses in those places, which has nothing to do with their training.

Does long term care funding cover this
長照3.0 benefits go to people who meet the disability criteria, and the amount differs from household to household. Privately hired one to one nursing is usually not included. Call 1966 to check what you qualify for.
Are holidays charged at a higher rate
Yes. Most providers charge extra on public holidays. Before you commit anywhere, ask about holiday rates, overtime and transport together, and get the answers in writing.
